DESCRIPTION: Celebrate Tulsa Music Month TFA style with a tour that highlights the powerful connection between music and architecture. You'll visit two of the city's most iconic music landmarks—one a rising star, the other a beloved historic treasure.

First, step inside OKPOP, a visually striking museum dedicated to preserving Oklahoma’s rich musical heritage. On this exclusive tour, you’ll explore the archives and discover fascinating artifacts that bring the stories of the state’s most influential artists to life. Then, we’ll make our way to Cain’s Ballroom, one of Tulsa’s most legendary music venues, where the echoes of unforgettable performances still linger.

Whether you're passionate about historic preservation, inspired by bold contemporary design, or simply moved by the magic of music, this tour offers a dynamic glimpse into the spaces that celebrate Tulsa’s musical legacy.

PARKING: There is ample free street parking in the neighborhood that is free on Saturdays!

YOUR TICKET TIME: Please arrive 10 minutes early to get checked in. Please note that you will only be permitted to tour at the time you selected when purchasing your tickets. SUPPORT INFORMATION: TFA tours include 0.5-1.5 miles of walking (typically on streets/sidewalks, which sometimes include uneven terrain) in a variety of weather conditions. Please look ahead at the weather, plan to wear sturdy footwear, layers, and bring weather related items such as umbrellas, hats, gloves, fans, visors, sunscreen or other comfort items, as needed. You'll be on foot for up to 1.5 hours.

Seating is limited or non-existent along many of our tour routes. If it will improve your experience, we encourage you to bring a lightweight stool, walking stick, or other assistive device!

Routes to avoid stairs are planned in advance for those who need an elevator or ramp. Our docents use a personal microphone to enhance hearing ability for all on the tour. You are welcome to move closer to the docent or request a volume adjustment at any time.

ENVIRONMENT: This tour will take place primarily indoors.
